Hi, I’m back! I was on vacation for a little over a week. Earlier this month, I was preparing for my one year anniversary with Ara. I recreated her favorite city in the world… London! Parts of the sim are inspired by Trafalgar Square, St. James Park, Kensington Park, Queen’s Gate, SoHo, Chinatown and a bit of Harry Potter magic! I actually took a full sim this time (Paris was only on a homestead), so there are quite a few stores, art galleries, etc. Two of the galleries by the St. James Park area actually showcase photos Ara took of London (and the UK in general). The other gallery has the spreads from the book I made her. A few months ago, I had asked people on FB to share their favorite photo she’s done and why and had made a book. I thought it would be cute to bring it out for her in-world to see. The final gallery is just our year in review from all the little dates we had.
We had our one year anniversary date on the 16th. I was very extra, but she loved it. That’s all that really matters. We’ve decided to share the sim with others to explore or take photographs starting this Friday.
I was going to write something more about Ara here, but the fact of the matter is… I am so incredibly lucky to have her in my life. I love her.
